Presentation of the Official Website of the Civil Society Development Fund

Program participants: Viktor Shyshkin (Head of the Supervisory Board), Ivan Pietukhov (Head of the Board), Volodymyr Teteruk (Executive Director of the Fund). During the program, the speakers outlined the key areas of the Fund’s activities. Participants discussed new challenges facing Ukrainian civil society that require an urgent response from the public sector.

The presentation of the official website of the Charitable Organization «Civil Society Development Fund,» which has been actively promoting the ideas of Ukrainocentrism in civil society since 2019, took place on the air of the First Volunteer TV Channel I-UA.TV.

Ivan Pietukhov, Head of the Board of the Civil Society Development Fund of Ukraine, emphasized that the strength and effectiveness of civil society are primarily based on people’s activity, their commitment, and their readiness to defend their rights and fight for justice. «If you do not tolerate injustice and are ready to stand up for the truth at every step, no matter how uncomfortable it may be, you are a citizen and already represent civil society, not a faceless population,» Ivan Pietukhov succinctly and clearly articulated the difference between citizens and passive masses.

«Where are our funds being spent?» — this is the question that should initiate the dialogue between a true civil society and the authorities, stated Viktor Shyshkin, Head of the Supervisory Board of the Civil Society Development Fund of Ukraine, during the program «Social Dialogues» dedicated to the presentation of the Fund’s official website.

Viktor Shyshkin particularly emphasized that the role of civil society today is significant. It not only supports the Armed Forces of Ukraine but also directly participates in combat operations. «Note that military units formed by civil society (Territorial Defense Forces) played an active role in liberating Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy, and Kharkiv regions from the occupiers,» he remarked.

The program participants stressed that the website presentation marks an important milestone in the activities of the organization, which traces its history back to 2019. Over this time, much has been achieved, but current challenges require the Fund to expand its activities, launch new projects, and support new initiatives. Thus, the website presentation serves as a starting point for the next stage of the Fund’s development.
